HVAC CONTROLS SERVICE TECHNICIAN

FIT Optimized Solutions is seeking technicians to service commercial HVAC systems in the Pittsburgh and surrounding areas. The Technician will interface with customers and contractors to install and service our clients Building Automation Systems. This includes project start-up and commissioning, service (routine & emergency) and preventive maintenance. We are seeking someone with BAS programming experience including Niagara based products, Schneider Electric Smart Struxure and ECO Struxure systems. The candidate must have a thorough understanding of HVAC Mechanical Systems and Controls. Past field experience, troubleshooting and CFC Universal Certification is required. SYSTEMS PROGRAMMER /SOFTWARE ENGINEER

Fit Optimized Solutions, a Pittsburgh and Windber based Building Automation Systems provider, is seeking a skilled Building Automation Systems Programmer/Software Engineer to join our Controls team.

Typical projects include hospitals, prisons, K-12, higher education and commercial building projects

The Programmer/Software Engineer role focuses on creating and testing programs for controlling HVAC equipment, developing programming standards, assisting in troubleshooting, and coordinating project requirements with staff and technicians. Ideal candidates should have over three years of experience with Building Automation Systems, field work, and programming, alongside proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong communication skills. This position reports directly to the Principals.

This position will report directly to the Principals.

Building Automation Controls Sales

FIT Optimized Solutions is searching for a self-motivated sales person who is effective at creating opportunities and closing sales. Cold calling and aggressive sales experience are a must. Applicants are required to have extensive knowledge of Building Automation Controls and mechanical HVAC systems.

The job entails selling HVAC/Building Automation Systems and services to a diverse clientele, requiring an assertive sales professional skilled in cold calling, developing new business, and implementing sales strategies. The role also involves providing technical solutions, managing long-term relationships, and engaging with existing and potential customers to identify and close new sales opportunities.

Candidates must have at least three years of experience in outside sales, specifically in DDC/Building Automation Systems, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas. They should possess strong relationship-building and cold calling skills, capable of identifying new business opportunities within both new and existing client bases.

APPLICATION ENGINEER

Fit Optimized Solutions, a Pittsburgh and Windber based Building Automation Systems provider, is seeking a skilled Building Automation Applications Engineer to join our Controls team.Ā 

This position will be responsible for the overall design related to all FIT OPS Controls System Projects including submittal and O&M packages, equipment scheduling and overall engineering and design support.Ā Ā Ā 

Qualified applicants should have 3+ years of building automation systems design experience.Ā  Prior field start up as well as the required design experience is preferred.Ā 

The position will focus on mainly on building automation system project types including hospitals, prisons, K-12, higher education and commercial building projects.Ā Ā Ā 

Successful candidates will work closely with other Engineers and Designers as well as the field staff.Ā  Must have the ability to effectively design multiple projects to satisfy clientsā€™ needs, meet deadlines and adhere to budgets.Ā  Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required along with the ability to work independently.Ā Ā Ā

SERVICE SALES

Search available lead sources in order to find potential target accounts. Develop marketing plan to reasonably achieve sales targets on a quarterly basis. Develop target projects, involving other members of the team as required.

Routinely evaluate progress and modify sales approach as necessary. Regularly call existing service contract customers in order keep tabs on their satisfaction level. Interact with service personnel to resolve any problems encountered. Call on a sufficient number of potential new accounts weekly in order to achieve sales targets. Estimate resultant service contract proposals in a timely fashion.

Daily meet with customers reviewing their needs. Provide quotes to repair controls or mechanical equipment per the customerā€™s direction. Promote all Company offerings to customers working with them to provide a quality solution.

Develop personal relationships with key accounts and leverage the resultant opportunities. Become involved in local organizations that will provide a forum to help develop company/service exposure.

Successful candidate must have controls experience, be able to read mechanical drawings, and be self-motivated.
